PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Carson Ann
“June" Hambright, 87, Park Ridge, Ill., died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 in
Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Ill. She was born June 10,
1919 in Attica, the daughter of Abel T. and Carson (Lemon) Claypool. She
married Walter V. Hambright July 29, 1937 in Rockville. He preceded in death
April 13, 2004. She was a former resident of Perrysville and Danville. She
graduated from Attica High School. She was a nurses aid at the VA Hospital,
Danville, Ill. before retiring. She attended Perrysville United Methodist
Church and the Nazarene Church, Danville. Survivors include: a son, David L.
Hambright, Park Ridge, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Charlotte Kay
Sutliff. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday) in Shelby
Funeral Home, Covington, with services there at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Larry
Stoops officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. – jlr
